The idea was born in 2007, but the founders delayed launching until the function and direction of the site were clear. August 2008 saw the launch of the beta version of this site. It is a work in progress and we are eager to hear feedback and suggestions - please contact us with any ideas or advice for improvement.
Who's behind coolshowcase?
Sergio Milardovich (b. 1992 in Villada, Argentina). This young web programmer has already authored a number of websites aside from milardovich.com.ar (his personal weblog). He is currently studying at "E.E.M. 369 Dr. Julio Maiztegui" in Villada and working as freelance programmer. Among the web technologies and languages he is proficient in are CSS, AJAX, Javascript, PHP, Mysql, XHTML and many others. In addition to his studies, he is pursuing personal projects like Coolshowcase and kleophatra (a web content management system similar to wordpress) as well as numerous commercial projects.[View Profile]
Leonardo A. Correa (b.1980 in Firmat, Argentina) Leonardo is an Argentina-based designer who has worked since 2003 as graphic designer for the web. He is the creator of website developer webnova.com.ar, which manages content and explores web design through ongoing commentary. Leonard has worked with a number of businesses as an internet and design consultant. His work as a graphics/web freelancer includes familiarity with web standards (CSS, XHTML, DHTML) and with the advanced design concepts vital for Web 2.0 usability and accessibility.[View Profile]
